We have prepared this page to help answer the basic questions you may have about our office policies. If you have additional questions, do not hesitate to ask anyone in our office.

General Office Policies

Remember to bring your form completely filled out. Your first consultation will last between 1-1/2 and 2 hours, so please give yourself plenty of time to get there, park and find the office. Follow-ups will last 30-45 minutes. Follow-up visits are usually 4 to 6 weeks apart. If you need consultation in between, phone consultations can be arranged.

Please call if you can't keep your appointment. There is a charge (equivalent to the appointment fee) for a cancellation made within 48 hours of the appointment. I book appointments just one person at a time and your time is valuable to me, so please be courteous if you can’t make an appointment. We accept checks, Visa, MasterCard and cash. To book your first appointment, we will request your credit card information.

Case Reviews

Sometimes, cases are reviewed after your appointment. Many times, further study and research is required and this can take up to 1 or 2 hours of time. All of this is included in your per- appointment consultation fee.

Alternatives to Office Visits

For the first visit, it’s best to do an in-person office visit. Avghi can also do follow-ups via computer with video hookup, using iChat A/V, or by phone. These phone and computer arrangements are best for long-distance or out-of-town patients only.
